GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.Draw a square which will act as the frame of the penguin portrait.

STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the penguin.

STEP 2. Erase redundant lines. Sketch spaces for the eyes.

STEP 3. Add a new shape below the eye spaces. Erase the inner lines. Add the mouth.

STEP 4. Sketch the eyes and the beak. Detail the body.

STEP 5. Work on the whole figure of the penguin, adding more details to the eyes and beak.

STEP 6. Color the borderline of the penguin's head and body.
